It all happens on Worthing Promenade, known as 'The Prom'. I enjoy watching all the action – from buskers to excited dogs, eccentric characters, family days out, joggers, scooters, cycles, and marathon trainers. I wonder what people are thinking when they sit in the iconic wind shelters on The Prom. Most of my illustrations are manually drawn from photos I have taken. I do not use any automated tracing tools. Over the years I have designed a colour palette that suits the period and is also muted enough to fit in most living spaces.
