Adorn your home with the serene beauty of the Welsh countryside with our Pontcysyllte Aqueduct cushion. This piece captures the awe-inspiring aqueduct against a backdrop of a soft blue sunburst sky, transitioning into a warm, inviting horizon that evokes a sense of calm and wonder. The aqueduct’s Art Deco architecture is masterfully presented through its strong vertical lines and elegant arches, a tribute to the marvel of engineering nestled in the heart of North Wales.

Thomas Telford’s magnificent Pontcysyllte Aqueduct over the River Dee stands as one of North Wales’ most breathtaking spectacles. In my illustration, the aqueduct is depicted in reflective deep grey, creating a sense of depth and stillness that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant greens of the surrounding foliage. Each leaf is intricately shaped, suggesting a gentle breeze that adds life and movement to the tranquil scene. In the foreground, detailed grass and ferns offer a lush texture that invites the viewer to feel closer to nature.

Above this picturesque landscape, the illustration proudly bears the name ‘PONTCYSYLLTE AQUEDUCT NORTH WALES’, with a stylish compass rose adding a touch of wanderlust and adventure to the design. This cushion is not just a comfortable addition to your space but also a piece of art that embodies the harmony between human creativity and natural splendour.

Crafted with care, our cushions feature this stunning design on a durable, 100% spun polyester cover that brings both comfort and style to any room. The full-colour double-sided print ensures that the beauty of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and its surroundings can be enjoyed from every angle, while the concealed zip opening maintains the cushion’s sleek appearance.

Whether you’re accentuating your living room, bedroom, or even an office space, this cushion serves as a constant reminder of the tranquil and refreshing presence that nature and architectural art can provide. It’s a celebration of Welsh heritage, a nod to the timeless elegance of Art Deco, and a perfect way to bring a touch of muted green and nature-inspired tranquillity into your daily life.

A-MA-ZING!! I ordered a number of items from Vicky, including an apron and mug (through Redbubble), and they are all fabulous! Beautifully executed, lovely designs and very good quality. I will certainly shop at Vicky's again!

I’ve purchased several items from Vicky and I can’t say enough good things about them. The first item I bought was a lovely coaster that says “Time for Tea,” which I got as a gift for someone. I loved it so much that I ended up getting another one for myself! My most recent purchase was a beautiful glass chopping board that I intended as a housewarming gift for my hairdresser, who recently moved to Worthing. It turned out he needed something to cover a scratch on his unit, and it fits perfectly! Vicky's creations are unique and classic, and as a local artist, she truly deserves our support.

These are wonderful designs, they are even more special when they are places we visit. A favourite is Flying High at Shoreham airport, we love the tote bag, we have given several as gifts, one has been used in Mauritius as a beach bag! We visited Brooklands Museum because of Vicky's design and saw the amazing Napier-Railton for ourselves.
