Manor Road Art Deco Garage, East Preston, West Sussex

Price range: £25.00 through £1,000.00

Bring the golden age of motoring into your home with this striking Manor Road Garage artwork, inspired by the beautifully restored Art Deco garage in East Preston. Featuring a 1935 Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster in Swiss Green, vintage Shell Avery Hardoll petrol pumps, and elegant Streamline Moderne architecture, this nostalgic design celebrates Britain’s motoring heritage in style.

All prints are professionally produced for exceptional quality and colour reproduction. All sizes above 8×8 inches are printed on Giclée Epson Semi-Gloss, delivering rich detail, depth, and vibrant colour. Smaller 4×4– and 8×8-inch prints are professionally litho-printed using environmentally friendly vegetable inks.

The Manor Road Garage collection is available across framed prints, canvas prints, cushions, mugs, and keepsakes, making it perfect for classic car lovers, Art Deco enthusiasts, and collectors of unique British heritage art.

Originally built in 1919 and transformed with a striking Streamline Moderne frontage in 1934, Manor Road Garage in East Preston is a rare surviving piece of British motoring heritage. Hidden away from the main road, this beautifully restored Art Deco garage once served motorists until 1973 before standing empty for 40 years. Today, its rare Shell Avery Hardoll petrol pumps and elegant curves continue to capture attention.

Inspired by its fascinating history, I recreated the garage in my latest illustration, complete with a 1935 Auburn 851 Boattail Speedster in Swiss Green. The design is now available on a growing range of products including canvas prints, framed prints, cushions, mugs and keepsakes.

A-MA-ZING!! I ordered a number of items from Vicky, including an apron and mug (through Redbubble), and they are all fabulous! Beautifully executed, lovely designs and very good quality. I will certainly shop at Vicky's again!

I’ve purchased several items from Vicky and I can’t say enough good things about them. The first item I bought was a lovely coaster that says “Time for Tea,” which I got as a gift for someone. I loved it so much that I ended up getting another one for myself! My most recent purchase was a beautiful glass chopping board that I intended as a housewarming gift for my hairdresser, who recently moved to Worthing. It turned out he needed something to cover a scratch on his unit, and it fits perfectly! Vicky's creations are unique and classic, and as a local artist, she truly deserves our support.

These are wonderful designs, they are even more special when they are places we visit. A favourite is Flying High at Shoreham airport, we love the tote bag, we have given several as gifts, one has been used in Mauritius as a beach bag! We visited Brooklands Museum because of Vicky's design and saw the amazing Napier-Railton for ourselves.
